KABARDPR.COM, JAKARTA – Airlangga Hartarto officially resigned as the Chairman of the Golkar Party. Airlangga stated that his resignation was to maintain the integrity of the Golkar Party and ensure the stability of the government transition.
The resignation was conveyed by Airlangga through a video received by kabardpr.com on Sunday (11/8/2024). Airlangga stated that he had officially resigned since Saturday, August 10, 2024.
“After considering and to ensure the integrity of the Golkar Party in order to ensure the stability of the government transition in the near future, by saying bismillahirrahmanirrohim and guidance from the Almighty, I hereby declare my resignation from the position of Golkar Chairman, effective since last night, Saturday, August 10, 2024,” said Airlangga.
Furthermore, Airlangga said that as a big and mature party, Golkar would prepare organizational mechanisms in accordance with the applicable bylaws.
“All processes will be carried out peacefully, orderly, and uphold the dignity of the Golkar Party. Democracy must continue to be guarded and upheld continuously,” he said.
