Cleetus McFarland Signs Two-Year Deal with RCR for NASCAR O’Reilly

YouTuber Garrett Mitchell, also known as Cleetus McFarland, is gearing up to participate in his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts (NOAPS) debut at Rockingham, a challenging oval track in the sport. Driving the #33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, a renowned team with a rich history and recent NOAPS driver champions, McFarland’s stint is part of a three-race deal spanning 2026 and 2027, including races at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Tommy’s Express will be sponsoring the effort, with McFarland as a teammate to current championship leaders Jesse Love and Austin Hill.

With a YouTube channel on the cusp of reaching five million subscribers, McFarland is transitioning into a professional stock car racer, making his ARCA debut at Daytona in the previous year and later competing in multiple races in the 2025 season with notable finishes. Recently, he also made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut with Niece Motorsports, showing promising potential despite a crash that hindered his performance. The upcoming North Carolina Education Lottery 250 event at Rockingham on Easter Weekend presents a new opportunity for McFarland to display his skills on the track.
