President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia was deeply moved by a heartfelt message from a student at Sekolah Rakyat Junior High School 19 Efata in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, during a briefing for teachers and principals of Sekolah Rakyat in Jakarta. The student, Sofia Rorista Angel, expressed her gratitude to President Prabowo for transforming her life by providing educational opportunities through Sekolah Rakyat. Sofia shared how the school had changed her life, previously filled with limitations, into one full of hope and opportunity. She thanked President Prabowo for his care and support towards children in the East, acknowledging his efforts to ensure that children like her could attend school despite his busy schedule. Sofia likened President Prabowo to a parent who had brought her out of darkness and into the light.
She expressed her determination to achieve her dreams, crediting her success to the opportunity given by President Prabowo to study at Sekolah Rakyat. Sofia also sent warm greetings and prayers for the President’s well-being from Kupang, the City of Stone. The emotional message brought tears to President Prabowo’s eyes as he listened.
